Sammy works with Dragon Naturally speaking medical versions.Elementary training is available in order to install and direct the user how to use Dragon with SamNotes.Below are some interface options that can be used.

Enable extra controls should be set to Y under the utilities and preferences area.

In SamNotes wherever you can type you can dictate.

Please also make sure that the Dragon bar is docked at the bottom of the screen or floating.

Setting up a Structure for Dragon Dictation

When running a template the structure <> calls a pop up window into which you can either type or dictate.Click in the big white box, wake up Dragon and start talking. When you are done click the “Use It/Continue” button.The dictated text will be inserted into your note.

Using a Template with Dragon Dictation

When running a template you will see additional buttons to the right of your choices.

These buttons contain numbers.

If you want to select the first choice say the words “Click 1”…. “Click 2” etc.

If it’s a multiple choice structure say “Click 1, Click 2 then say “Click Next”

If it’s a pop up for an Add On say “Click Yes” or “Click No”
