Cigna autopost through Availity

ICS now offers Cigna ERA via Availity. Claims will continue to be transmitted via Emdeon. Payer ID 62308

If you currently send claims to Availity and get ERA files for BC in your state

Access Cigna ERA enrollment form 

Add or change ERA account: Change ERA Account Information

Who will receive the ERA files from Availity? Provider               Effective: current date 

Complete the rest of the form and fax it to 1.972.383.6415

There is nothing else you need to do. Your Cigna ERA files will download when you access Availity to send claims, or click get my reports.

 

If you do not currently send claims to Availity Setup Process

  • Create an Availity account.  If you are not sure if you are currently registered with Availity please call their help desk at 800-282-4548 for assistance.
  • Once you have your Availity account created and active. Email your Availity USER NAME to paperwork@icssoftware.net.  The Subject of the email should be: Cigna ERA. ****

***This is a crucial step, if you do not provide ICS with your Availity user name we cannot complete the setup required for you to receive your files

Complete the rest of the form and fax it to 1.972.383.6415

If you currently send claims via Availity, your ERA files will automatically download from Availity when you transmit claims.  These ERA files will be saved to the ZIP claim reports reprinting area.  

If you do not send any claims via Availity, Follow these steps to pick up your Cigna ERA files

  1. Access Trans and Claims
  2.  Medicare and Others
  3. Click the yellow select carrier bar, select Availity (15).
  4. Click Availity claims processing,  get my reports, Do it.
  5. Do this at least once a week to ensure you get all your ERA files.
