Why is the ARRA button red?

The ARRA One buttons on the patient chart and in SamNotes have been updated for stage 2 Meaningful Use. The button color will be either RED (incomplete) or GREEN (complete).

The following items are required and will be verified to determine the colors:

  • DOB
  • Sex,
  • Ethnicity
  • Race
  • Blood Pressure
  • Height
  • Weight
  • BMI
  • Medications
  • Allergies
  • Family History
  • HIPAA Privacy settings (All items must be answered)

If all items are completed, the button will be GREEN with the exception of Family History. If a Natural Relative(green) has not been selected then the ARRA button will remain RED.

Additionally, when the button is red in either Patient Chart or SamNotes, a mouse over on the button will show you which items are missing or incomplete.
